I have never been able to wear earrings (even the marketed sensitive ones) in my 2nd holes for longer than a few hours because they would get irritated and inflamed so quickly. I set out to find earrings that my ears could tolerate as well as be able to comfortably sleep in. I am SO happy I found these. I have been able to wear these for 2 weeks straight with zero inflammation or irritation. Super comfortable to sleep in. My only regret was not getting a screw in set. While these are by no means loose or super easy to take apart, I would prefer the extra security that the screw in would provide. I am extra careful when washing my hair or wearing a knitted winter headband so that nothing gets snagged on them and accidentally pulls them apart.
